I really like this plant. Commonly regarded as a weed, but easily used to landscape. Can be very invasive and push out surrounding plants if not controlled; actually kills native species here in San Francisco. All plants belonging to Fabaceae contain soil enhancing properties (roots excrete nitrogen onto soil).

Why this exists.

Hello,
I am keeping this blog in order to really ingrain the plants that I am learning about in my Plant ID class. I'll post all the plants I have learned on this blog, as well as everything I need to know about the plant. Hope this helps my grades!

Things you should know:
Light regiments will certainly differ unless you live in the bay area. (inland/coast)

Watering Regiments
Ample Water: Soil stays pretty much soggy always, very rare regiment.
Regular/Moderate: Soil dries between watering, but does not stay dry for too long either.
Infrequent but Thorough: Self Explanatory
No Water Once Established: Pretty Self Explanatory, "establishment" of a plant might take a couple of seasons.
